I'm a trained industrial designer and an artisan at heart. I worked for many years in graphic design as an art director, first at a newspaper and then in advertising. During that time I also worked on various side projects such as set design, handmade paper production, children art education, and many more, big and small, widening my design experience.

Etsy Finds:MarKhed Design

today i want to share amazing jewelries from our great group Artisan Gallery Team. The owner of these beauties is MarKhed Design .. She is a great artisan and very lovely friend of mine. ;)

As she summarize her items are ; "Artisan Indie designer earrings, rings, and necklaces in silver and semi-precious stones with my edgy, creepy, sexy, tough, yet feminine, aesthetic."


Lets meet her a bit more;

I make everything in my shop from scratch, using a jeweler's saw, silver and good ol' sweat and tears! I try to use machine made components as LITTLE as possible.

I have my bachelors and masters in architecture, but I found my true calling when I picked up a jeweler's saw for the first time 5 years ago.

After taking jewelry classes on the side for a couple of years, my life changed when I began selling my jewelry. I was hooked to the connection I formed with each client to whom I would sell a piece. So, I quit my safe job and dedicated all my attention to my own business in the fall 2009.




Right now I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where I was born and raised. I have a mostly messy studio in my one bedroom apartment that I share with my boyfriend and two dogs. It can get squishy.

my new bag and a picnic

it was sunny bright but windy and so perfect for us! we had a kind of picnic last day.

my daughter played with sand and children we met there..

some cakes,salty creakers and juice.. just we had!

That day i wore my new and super lovely bag which is a gift by iragrant! Again thank you dear!

heheheh.. i look like a pregnant lady on that photo but i am not! i am the victim of wind!:)

suprise gift

This morning i woke up by the door ring! that was postman! when he lived i open the box quickly and there.. my suprise gift from Pınar Sondal aka Toosis...

kimono dress

This little lady is my dauhter,she 2.5 years old -looks bigger because of her tall:)- and her name is "zeynep erva". my second shop "zerva" means ,her name:)

The dress she wearing is BayanHippo's design. is there anyone who do not know her?! she is the great etsian,great bag designer..

i have to thank to her,for this dress,my daughter loved it too much and everyone around me ask where did i buy it!:)
